Great quote. It made me think of a sailing ship being towed by its crew, rowing the longboat to give them something to do in the doldrums.

Now now. We won’t have any Sydney – Queensland weather rivalry here, Stafford 😉 But I suppose it’s one of the few points of difference we have left now that our states are being crushed in similar ways by the Newman/O’Farrell demagogue machine. No choice but to just keep rowing…..

I love this philosophy. Never give up, never say die. Do what ya gotta do but do it. Noone said it would be easy and if it doesn’t work one way, we try another. That is what life is, or should be, about!

You can’t give up. A lot of the time I feel like giving up, but seriously, what does that mean? Sitting in a corner rocking back and forth for ever. Not a good look. Just keep rowing….
